Excellent Gym and Plentiful Breakfast
equipped gymporridge option
The gym is well equipped with secure access. I found it easy to use. Breakfast offered a variety of options. I saw continental, cooked English, and fruit and yoghurt. Staff were happy to prepare porridge. I found the bed comfy and warm.

The breakfast was okay (especially the sausage).
The room looked quite dated. I noticed damaged wallpaper and some peeling paint in the bathroom. The bed felt lumpy and uneven. I did not get a good night's sleep.

Relaxing stay with good service
pleasant staffswift check-inadequate room
The staff were pleasant. NOTHING was any trouble for them. Check-in was swift. The room was more than adequate. I only had the breakfast option. The food tasted superb. The building and grounds made it a pleasure to walk around. The scenery was excellent.
During my visit, the route to my room passed torn carpets and dirty trays, which gave a poor first impression.
